Spring coat.

Hello, spring is now defiantly here to stay, so I needed a new coat. I needed something light weight and colourful. I found this coat on BooHoo and they only had one left and it was in my size! To me it was destiny so my fantastic sister bought it for me as an early birthday present. I had a few doubts because of the colour and the thoughts of what it would go with. I really enjoyed putting this outfits together because it gave confidence that it was a very good buy.

I paired a blue shirt with a grey skirt to add even more colour, but in a limited way so the coat is still the main feature. I'm really not that big on accessories as I would like, but the sunglasses finish the spring outfit off. I love these white shoes too much, so I had to use them in some way and I think they kinda work.

I love that with this coat I can cheat a bit with colour, because I can where black and grey, but still look colourful. The hat is just another simple accessory  to make the outfit look more together, so I hope it looks alright.

This outfit is just casual with a grey baggy top and disco pants, but made more interesting with the yellow coat. Everything is really comfy from the cat sunglasses to the dirty white plimsolls. I hope this has given you a bit of spring inspiration if you're are a sometimes colour-phobe like me. Are you thinking about trying any new fashion this year? Have a nice day.

              Where to find everything.
Some of this items were from Primark, so I'm afraid you can only find them on the high street.
                  The yellow coat.
                       Grey skirt.
                          Grey trousers.
                         Black hat.
                          Black boots.
                            Disco pants.

The brown skirt.

Hello. I always like finding a piece of clothing that not only goes with lots of different outfits but is also not expensive. As i am only a teenager I can't buy everything that I want to own so I have to be careful when I shop. I think it is much better to get one thing that goes with nearly everything then lots of other things that do not go together.I came across this brown skirt in Jane Norman in Ireland (The sales were on) and fell in love it. I knew I could put with a lot of my tops and the coat I wear most. It may not be everyone taste and even though i don't really follow trends, it reminds me of this spring's seventies look. I think it is the brown that makes me think of that trend.
I can dress this skirt up with boots from office or wear it casually with ballet pumps from Primark.

I bought these items a while ago so they are no longer in the shops unfortunately.
Similar blue dress. (I tucked it in)

Easter OOTD.

Hello, even though I usually only write posts for my blog on a Saturday, I thought, because it is a special occasion i would do another one. I am Catholic and go to church every Sunday. I have been a catholic all my life so when it comes to Easter my family and I celebrate it not just because we love chocolate but because of our beliefs. I know lots of people just like the choclate and that's fine but because we celebrate the traditional meaning behind Easter (the Jesus part) I like to wear something nice.
I bought this blue shirt recently from Primark and I love it because it does not have a proper colar therfore I don't risk looking school like. My jeans are from Newlook and the shoes are my new favourite. They were £12 from Primark which is fantastic and they will look great in lots of outfits because they are white. I wear this coat all the time because of the colour and cut but a good coat is a good investment. And I hope you like the rabbit ears I borrowed from little niece for fun.
I think this is the end of my monochrome outfits intill next winter as the sun is now out with the beautiful flowers on a daily basis. Hello spring.

Hoarddrobe to wardrobe.

Hello, since spring is now here I tided up and the thing i really needed to face was m wardrobe because it had become more of a hoarddrobe (sorry, excuse the attempted pun).

This year I'm trying really hard to buy only clothes I need or clothes that will go in many outfits if that makes sense. When I was tidying I went with the rule 'if i hadn't worn it in the last year then it had to go.' Not all my clothes are in my wardrobe because of the lack of space so from the left is my school uniform, jumpers, sleeveless tops, short sleeve tops, long sleeve tops, skirts, trousers,  day dresses, evening dresses and then random things like a sixties like dress from a sixties party.

Hanging things up has made a massive difference to how i get dressed in the morning because first of all I can see everything and everything can be accessed quickly. I would really suggest doing this to anyone and plus giving your old clothes to charity really does make a difference to other people's lives.
As i can not take pictures of all my clothes; i have picked out some current favorites from each section to talk about.

Both these items are from Primark and are great for this spring, because in my opinion wont really go out of styles and are very light so you can be cool in summer without having to show a lot of skin. I can pair them with jeans or skirts and dress them up or down.

I acquired this skirt a couple of years ago from International in a sale. I love the colour and the fit. I think it was around the £10 mark which is fantastic so I just had to get it. I tend to wear this  to more formal places like church because I'm not sure how to make it look less formal yet, but im going to have a go.

This jumper is from New Look and i have owned it for about 5 years which say it all really. This thin knit is fantastic for cool summer evenings or for layering up for winter. Well black jeans are classic and they don't need a lot of explanation to why they are a favorite of mine, but they are a little worn from being well worn a lot.
